About Hammond Electric Motors, Inc.
Hammond Electric Motors is a family-owned business located in Albemarle, NC. From its beginnings as a small shop specializing in mostly small motors in 1961, it has grown into a 12,500 square foot facility capable of repairing up to 1500 Hp motors. The current owners Wayne and Steve Hoffman purchased the company in 1996 and have made many investments to make Hammond Electric one the most technologically advanced shops in North Carolina.
